Product Description

Argon is the third most common gas in the Earth's atmosphere, at 0.93% .argon is the most prevalent of the noble gases in Earth's crust. Argon is produced industrially by the fractional distillation of liquid air. Argon is mostly used as an inert shielding gas in welding and other high-temperature industrial 

processes where ordinarily non-reactive substances become reactive; for example, an argon 

atmosphere is used in graphite electric furnaces to prevent the graphite from burning. Argon gas also has uses in incandescent and fluorescent lighting, and other types of gas discharge tubes. Argon makes a distinctive blue-green gas laser. Argon is also used in fluorescent glow starters.

Argon gas knife is a kind of medical technology that emerged in recent years. It is also a widely used surgical technique in clinical practice. The presence of an argon gas knife has made up for the shortcomings of the previous surgical knife.
Argon knives include high-frequency knife (unipolar cutting, monopolar condensation, bipolar coagulation) and argon beam condensation. When using an ammonia gas beam, the argon gas nozzle is located 1 cm away from the tissue. The boost vibration activates the RF current (RF) to ionize the argon, and the argon gas is used to conduct the RF energy to the target tissue. The ionizing arc is visible from the nozzle to the tissue site, and the local body fluid and vapor can be blown open at the same time to produce a scarring temperature of about 100~C at the closest contact interface, and the wound is coagulated. After the formation of eschar, the dry wounds no longer activate ammonia ionization. The depth of thermal damage depends on the power setting, the time of activation of the argon arc, and the distance between the tissue and the nozzle. The range of heat penetration is < 6 mm. In operation, the instrument does not directly contact the tissue and does not play the role of cutting and vaporization.
