Why argon used in light bulbs
Because: the incandescent lamp is working, the filament is incandescent at a high temperature. When the filament temperature is too high, it will cause the tungsten filament evaporation too fast and reduce the life expectancy; and evaporation of tungsten deposited on the inner wall of the bulb will make the bulb dark, affecting the brightness. After filling the bulb with an appropriate amount of inert gas, the tungsten filament evaporates less than under vacuum at a certain pressure. Namely, under the same life condition, the working temperature of the filament of the inflatable light bulb may be greater than the temperature of the vacuum, thereby improving the luminous efficiency.
